What's the biggest misconception about your class that upsets you the most? Uhh.. that they're sometimes considered OP or don't have a lot of utility. I think they've always been fairly balanced and they have plenty of utility ( death grip , anti magic zone come shadowlands , battle rez , and being able to cheese some mechanics with deaths advanced / anti magic shell )
What's your usual spec? I've mostly tanked for the last few years but have been dabbling in DPS more and more. I'm open to either and can flex where needed.
Would you be willing to respec in order to help the guild kill a boss? I would have no problems with this whatsoever

Outline your raiding experience (Be thorough and specific): I mainly raided in Burning Crusade , Wotlk, and some Cataclsym. It's been a minute since I've taken raiding seriously. But I've played the game off and on over the year (as most people have)
In those first few years I raided in a guild with Zekulio (who I've known since the beginning of my time playing)
I mainly played combat in Rogue in Burning Crusade and we did everything from Kara , Gruul , Magtheridon , Zul Aman (bear runs baby) , SSC, TK , and most of BT.
Once Wrath came around I rerolled DK. Started off as DPS but then moved into main tanking / off tanking for the guild. I did every raid except Ruby Sanctum.
Moving into Cataclysm I bounced between DK tanking and Bear tanking ( Bear DPS was amazing ) I only ever did most of Blackwing Descent and most of Bastion as well.
and that's kinda where my raiding career ended. Got burnt out on the game, wasn't having as much fun with it. Played every expansion after but only very casually until mid way through Legion again.

I consistently talk to / play games with Reiss, Zekulio, Magena , and Bear. I'd love to have a chance to finally be able to raid with them. Your guys' new times are perfect for my schedule so I figured going into Shadowlands I'd love to give it a shot and deep dive into raiding again.

Class: Rogue (I am also thinking about possibly playing paladin in shadowlands as it would be nice to be able to flex heal or tank if needed, but I'll likely stick with rogue.)
What's the biggest misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
I don't think there are any misconceptions about the class that really bug me. Maybe that it's 2020 and I still see people out here playing the rouge class.
What's your usual spec?
Assassination, but hopefully sub in SL if its viable.
Would you be willing to respec in order to help the guild kill a boss?
Of course. Throughout the years I've put in a lot of time on all three rogue specs and know them pretty well.

Outline your raiding experience (Be thorough and specific):
In BC I raided from Kara all the way through the first few bosses of Sunwell on my rogue.
In Wrath I raided Naxx through Ulduar. I stopped playing right after Toc was released. (Of course all my BC and Wrath raiding was done with Nightstalkers!)
In Cata I raided in a small casual 10 man group for the first two tiers, mostly playing prot paladin.
After that I didn't really play much in any serious context, skipping both MoP and WoD.
In Legion I came back and made a bit more of a try with some friends. We had a small little heroic group getting AoTC for all tiers. For Emerald Nightmare I played frost death knight. In Nighthold and for about the first half of Tomb I played holy priest. In Nighthold we also attempted to try mythic but we really didn't have the roster for it, we killed two bosses. I was back on my rogue for the remainder of Tomb (mostly sub) and Antorus (mostly assassination).
Then BfA came around and my group dissolved. That combined with me not really liking BfA ended with me not playing much retail.

I've been playing wow for waaaay too long at this point. Recently I've wanted to push myself more in game as I've missed being in a more competitive environment. Outside of raiding I enjoy m+ and outside of wow I play mostly fps games (which recently has been almost exclusively Apex Legends).
Why did you leave your previous guild?
Well I guess I haven't really been in a guild since like wrath. All of the times I've raided since then it's just been in small groups of friends, nothing too structured. So I had been pretty much guildless until Legion when Lumi let me back in the guild.
Why do you want to raid with Nightstalkers?
I know what kind of raid Def runs (or at least ran over a decade ago). It was pretty fun back then so I'm sure it will still be fun now. Like I said I'm looking to get into a more competitive group and hopefully I'll be able to do that with you guys. Also in Antorus I ran a few alt runs with you guys and it was a fun time.

Outline your raiding experience (Be thorough and specific): I've been raiding hardcore/semi-hardcore since Molten Core with some significant breaks. As horde on Sargeras I raided with a guild through AQ20/40. I joined the Army shortly after graduating high school and missed most of TBC and Wrath. I came back as a normal raider for most of BoT/BWD and Firelands. Then due to deployments I stopped again and was only able to raid MoP's SoO as a casual and missed almost all of Warlords of Draenor. Since then I have played the launchs of Legion and BFA and done a lot of mythic raiding. I have returned again for the launch of Shadowlands but hope to raid well past just the first tier of launch content

Last week I had finally saved enough echoes to buy 1 Infinite Stars 3. With dps being so dependent on corruptions and essences it makes parsing well a bit harder even though you are grinding ilvls correctly. When prepatch drops and the playing field is leveled again, life will be better

Why did you leave your previous guild?
GM is not great. Guild has little to no structure.
Why do you want to raid with Nightstalkers?
I'm looking for a guild group that keeps a consistent raid schedule with a consistent roster. Also looking for people who are fun and laid back but can focus up and take down Mythic bosses. I feel like I can find that with Nightstalkers.

Been playing WoW since MOP but didnt get into raiding outside of LFR until BFA. But I am a seasoned gamer and pick up fight mechanics very very quickly.

What's the biggest misconception about your class that upsets you the most?
"All fire mages need font and pvp trinket"
I took a long break from wow, didnt start back up till 8.3 came out, so was way behind in catching up. Playing a mage in BFA and always playing catchup was really tough.
I was not TOP dps but was able to do well despite having bad luck and only JUST getting the font of power

Would you be willing to respec in order to help the guild kill a boss? yes

First off, I know my logs are not great, again, VERY late start to BFA, and 8.3. Was very late to get font of power, and for a fire mage that is huge. Guild is currently pushing progression so i cant go back and redo fights for better numbers, now that i have better gear.
Guild is currently 9/12 pushing Ilgy, as of last raid we had him to 28% in 4th up phase and was burning him down when we had a raid wipe with cursed blood.
Nya and BFA is all my mythic progression experience. I have been playing since vanilla and used to raid Onyxia and MC. I have taken time off and on and mained a few different characters and classes over the years.

Out of Wow: Live with my girlfriend, together we have 2 dogs, a cat, a snake, and some fish. Ive been playing a lot of golf recently but the season is ending for that. Hope we get some good snow for some snowboarding this year! Fingers crossed but not holding my breath.
Why did you leave your previous guild?
Months ago, our raid group disbanded because some people didnt agree with the GM and moved servers to Illidan to play on a higher pop server, and start a new guild. I moved with the majority of the raid group, but my girlfriend did not. Now with shadowlands starting, we are both looking for a new home to start the new expansion with.
Why do you want to raid with Nightstalkers?
I am looking for a guild that is serious about progression but can still have fun playing this game that we are all spending money and time on.

no, I currently work at home and am playing a LOT, once things get back to normal ill work at home less but still 2 days a week. Dont see myself stopping, especially when your girlfriend plays with you.
